Singer and actor Jason Donovan has been announced as the host of an All 80s show on Heart, starting August 3.

Donovan returns to the radio station after a short sabbatical and will re-join the weekend line-up, playing three hours of 1980s hits every Sunday from 7pm. Donovan said 'It's great to be back with my Heart family. I'm so looking forward to playing the best of the 80s and perhaps a few tunes we forgot about too', while Richard Park, director of broadcasting at Global, commented 'It's fantastic to welcome him back with a show packed full of the music that our listeners know and love'.
